WebGrim Fandango is sort of the industry standard for point-and-click adventure games. The remastered edition makes it look only moderately dated. Great world-building, interesting characters, and the puzzles generally make sense. There was a couple times I had to look for the answers on Google, but mostly I was able to solve everything on my own.
