WebI'm actually going to just form a rectangular brick of Great Stuff that makes the "core" of the hammer. Then I'll glue sheets of upholstery foam to the more solid core. The end pieces of upholstery foam will be beveled to match the shape of the hammerhead. And I'll embed a piece of fabric wrapped PVC into the Great Stuff for the handle.

Lay the next layer on top and weigh it down. (I don’t recommend doing more than one layer at a time… or at least wait an hour or so depending on the weather between layers.
